Meet Our Dental Team

Susana was born and raised in Toronto and after obtaining her B.A. from Ryerson University, followed by her RDA diploma. She made the trek out west to Alberta and has called Calgary home ever since.

She has been in the dental industry for 29 years, with the last 10 years in holistic dentistry. She is passionate about helping patients understand the connection between how oral health affects the whole body and is excited to be a part of the team at West Market Dental.

When not at work, she loves spending time at her cabin with her family.

Carmen is the youngest of 3 daughters and was born in Chile and came to Calgary in 1975.  She loves dentistry because it is always evolving, and especially enjoys helping patients regain a healthy beautiful smile.  In her spare time, Carmen loves being the outdoors hiking, camping, and enjoying time with her dogs.

Joanna obtained her Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario. Prior to that, she was a dental assistant for over 7 years.

Joanna is excited to be part of the West Market Dental team and is enjoying being back in Calgary with her family and friends. She is dedicated to providing quality care and patients really appreciate Joanna's friendliness and gentle touch.

She was born and raised in Calgary but decided to make the move to Burlington, Ontario to study dental hygiene. She has been practicing since 2010 and is excited to rejoin the West Market Dental team. She is dedicated to providing quality care to all of her patients while making them feel comfortable.

Susan is always looking to enhance her knowledge in her profession and staying up to date on all the latest in dental hygiene.

When she is not at work, she loves spending time with her husband and son exploring Calgary and nearby mountains.

Sarah is an experienced and compassionate dental hygienist. A proud graduate of UBC, Sarah loves helping patients maintain healthy, beautiful smiles with the latest techniques and personalized care. When not in the office, you'll find Sarah enjoying Ringette, hot yoga, and snowboarding. Committed to providing excellent patient care, Sarah looks forward to helping you achieve optimal oral health.

Meet Mona, the dynamic dental assistant with a knack for bright smiles and healthy teeth! Originally armed with a Bachelor's in accounting, she made a bold switch to the world of dentistry after arriving in Canada. Juggling her role as a dedicated wife and mom to two adorable daughters, she brings a caring touch to both her professional and family life.

Beyond the dental chair, she dreams of exploring every corner of the globe, fueled by her passion for travel and cultural discovery. With her cheerful demeanor and adventurous spirit, she's ready to take on the world—one tooth and one destination at a time!

Sameena originally from India made Calgary home in 2016 having spent several years in the Middle East. She has been working as an RDA since 2021 and recently joined the family of West Market dental.

Sameena is passionate for patient care,educating patients & making the procedure comfortable both for patient & the dentist. In her free time Sameena enjoys to just sit back & chill with some Bollywood music & movies. Also loves cooking & hosting guests at her place.

Originally from BC, Jin has moved to Calgary recently. Through her 10 more years of career, she finds the relationship with her patient to be the most enjoyable part of her work at West Market Dental as she likes to listen and understand patients first and help them to get quality of care.

Outside of work, she likes to watch movies, read books and also loves hiking when the weather is nice. She is fluent in Korean.
