Zoom! Whitening
One of the most popular cosmetic dentistry options we provide is Zoom! teeth whitening. This is the best type of teeth whitening available to Calgary dentists. Zoom! can effectively lift out stains in teeth caused by smoking and drinking coffee and tea. The process takes from 60 to 90 minutes — depending on the desired level of whitening — and the results can last up to two years! This procedure is completely safe and there is usually little to no discomfort following treatment.
Laser Gum Lift
Some people are uncomfortable with their smile because they feel it appears too “gummy.” A minimally invasive laser gum lift will place your gums in the right position, allowing for your natural look to shine through.

Enamel Reshaping
Habits like grinding your teeth – a condition called bruxism that happens unconsciously, usually while sleeping, and which many experts consider to be a sleep-related movement disorder – can lead to enamel that looks chipped and uneven. In some cases enamel reshaping can restore your look quickly and easily. A custom-made splint for sleeping will also be beneficial.
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain Veneers can help a lot of problems, including crooked, misshaped, severely discoloured, and worn or chipped teeth. They can also repair spaces between teeth. We bond a thin, customized piece of porcelain to the front of the tooth (or teeth) being repaired to create a beautiful, uniform look that will comfortably last for several years. Best of all, many people are candidates for Lumineers®, which can be applied without removing any enamel, making the procedure completely reversible.
Dental Bonding
Another, inexpensive option for filling gaps between teeth and fixing tooth shape is dental bonding, a procedure during which we carefully place a colour-matched composite filling onto teeth. Oftentimes, this procedure requires little or no removal of enamel. Enamel recalcification may also produce the same results as bonding.
Cosmetic Inlays and Onlays
Porcelain inlays and onlays are perfect for replacing larger fillings and metal crowns or fillings. Inlays are applied to the inner cusp of the tooth, onlays extend out over one or more cusps.
Porcelain Crowns and Bridges
Crowns are a long-lasting and attractive option for when a tooth is broken or damaged to the point where a filling is no longer an option, or for those who grind or clench and have compromised the original structure of their tooth. A crown may be necessary or cosmetic. They are crafted from porcelain to match your tooth, and then fit like a sleeve over top. In fact, this is why they are often called “caps.” They can end up looking exactly the same or even better than your original, and have an average lifespan between 10 and 15 years. With good daily oral hygiene, crowns or caps can last longer than 15 years.
Bridges are prostheses that that “bridge the gap” created by missing teeth. Crown are applied to the two teeth at either end of the gap, which provide support for the false tooth (usually created from porcelain) in between.
